SHADOWS FALL Shoot New Video; Frontman To Host 'Headbanger's Ball'

January 13, 2005

SHADOWS FALL will shoot a new video for the track "Inspiration On Demand" in Puerto Rico at the end of the month with acclaimed director Zach Merck (12 STONES, ATREYU). The group are also set to embark on a massive U.S. arena tour alongside SLIPKNOT and LAMB OF GOD on March 4.

In other news, Brian Fair (vocals) will host MTV2's "Headbanger's Ball" for two episodes set to air on Jan. 29 and Feb. 5 in place of Jamey Jasta. The band's current single, "What Drives The Weak", has exploded at Active Rock radio helping their latest album, "The War Within", scan over 150,000 copies in under four months. The album debuted at #20 on the Billboard chart and has garnered accolades in such mainstream publications as Billboard, Blender and Stuff, among others. SHADOWS FALL were also recently hailed as a "Band To Watch In 2005" by Spin magazine.

Fair further describes his thoughts on the upcoming tour: "We're totally excited about our next U.S. tour where we once again will be playing with bands that we are not only friends with but also fans of. We've been friends with the guys in SLIPKNOT for a while but have not had the chance to actually tour with them. We look forward to this opportunity. There should be lots of crazy tour stories to add to our growing list."

SHADOWS FALL will also embark on tours of Australia, Japan and Korea beginning Feb. 7.
